Brother Jacob, Eifrid, C.S.C., is an Assistant Rector in Stanford Hall. Brother Eifrid also teaches French Language courses in the Department of Romance Languages and Literatures at Notre Dame. Originally from Fort Wayne, Indiana, Brother Eifrid professed his First Vows in August 2019 and professed Final Vows in the Congregation of Holy Cross in August 2023. He holds a bachelor's degree from Holy Cross College in theology and liberal studies. During his formation for religious life at Moreau Seminary, he earned a Master of Arts in Theology and a Master of Arts in French and Francophone literature, language and culture both from the University of Notre Dame.
