Rev. Gary Chamberland, C.S.C., is the Director of the Notre Dame-Newman Centre for Faith and Reason in Dublin, Ireland. The center evangelizes the young adult population of the Dublin City Centre area through lectures and presentations, and well-crafted liturgical experiences. He previously served as a Director of Residential Life at the University of Notre Dame, as well as the Director of the Master of Divinity Program in the Theology Department. Ordained in 1998, Father Chamberland has filled a variety of roles in Holy Cross including rector of Zahm and Keenan Halls at Notre Dame, and Director of Campus Ministry and Hall Director at Shipstad Hall at the University of Portland. Father Chamberland holds a license in Canon Law from the Catholic University of America and has taught Canon Law and Theology at both Portland and Notre Dame.
