Rev. Joseph Carey, C.S.C., serves as the Chaplain for Alliance for Catholic Education (ACE) at the University of Notre Dame.  He was ordained in 1969 and has served Notre Dame in a variety of capacities since 1977.  He has been an Assistant Rector and Rector in Dillon Hall, a Financial Aid Counselor, Career Center Counselor, and Interim Director of Campus Ministry.  He served as the priest-in-residence in Pasquerilla West for four years and currently lives in Ryan Hall.  He has served as the Steward for Corby Hall since 1999, and he has performed many weddings of Notre Dame alumni.
