Rev. Nathan Wills, C.S.C., serves on the faculty of the Mary Ann Remick Leadership Program. A native of St. Paul, Minnesota, he began his career at the University of Notre Dame as an undergraduate seminarian in the Old College program. He completed a double major in Theology and Computer Applications in 1999, and as a part of his seminary formation, taught at Notre Dame High School in Niles, Illinois, as a member of the Alliance for Catholic Education (ACE) program. He completed his M.Ed. from Notre Dame in 2003 and his M.Div. in 2005. Father Nate was ordained in the spring of 2006 and served as the associate pastor at St. Joseph Parish in South Bend, Indiana. He entered graduate studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and completed his Ph.D. in 2015, studying technology policy in K-12 Catholic schools. Since the fall of 2015, Father Nate has been a faculty member in the Alliance for Catholic Education’s Remick Leadership Program and directs the “Higher-Powered Learning Program” which helps teachers to use technology for personalization in K-12 classrooms. Father Nate’s research interests include blended learning, innovative uses of technology, and leadership in Catholic schools. He is the priest-in-residence in Keough Hall and the chaplain to the football team.
