Brother Edward Luther, C.S.C., serves on the Formation Staff at Old College at the University of Notre Dame.  He made his first vows on October 21, 1946, and from then until 1949 he was the cook at Sacred Heart Novitiate in South Bend, Indiana. He then moved to Moreau Seminary in the fall of 1949 and worked there as cook until 1956. From 1956-1960 he was at the Sacred Heart Novitiate in Minnesota; from 1960-1978 he was the kitchen manager at Moreau Seminary. From the fall of 1978-1986 Brother Ed was the rector of Morrissey Hall; from the fall of 1986-1999 he was rector of Fisher Hall. In the fall of 1999, Brother Ed was assigned to Old College where he is currently the Procurator as well as Sacristan at Corby Hall.
