Rev. Michael DeLaney, C.S.C., serves as the Director of the Holy Cross Mission Center. The Mission Center works with Holy Cross ministries in Latin America, Africa and Asia, and tries to strengthen and establish programs and relationships between the ministries in the United States with those around the world. Father Mike joined the Congregation of Holy Cross after graduation from the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University. Theology at Notre Dame was followed by his ordination in 1987. Since then, he has served in Portland and Chicago, and most recently in Santiago, Chile, as Superior of the District of Chile and Director of Campus Ministry at Saint George's College. He also served in leadership of the Holy Cross communities in Portland and Chicago. He founded the Peace Studies program at Saint George's College. Father Mike has been at Notre Dame since 2015 and lives in Pasquerilla East.
