On June 21, 1964, Rev. Theodore M. Hesburgh, C.S.C., attended a civil rights march.  Here, he was photographed standing hand in hand with Martin Luther King, Jr.  This famous picture hangs in the National Portrait Gallery at the Smithsonian Institution.  In 2016, students at Notre Dame worked together to build a mosaic representing this image and this historic moment.  The video includes reflections from Rev. Paul Doyle, C.S.C., as well as others from the University of Notre Dame community, on the lasting legacy of Father Ted.
