Fr. Jim King, C.S.C. is currently serving as rector in Knott Hall. He has been director of Campus Ministry, religious superior for the Holy Cross community at Notre Dame, vocation director, rector of Sorin Hall, and a teacher/administrator both in Uganda and at the University of Portland. Fr. Jim has taught freshman seminar, theology, business ethics, history, and Notre Dame’s Moreau seminar for first years. He is a diehard White Sox fan originally from the South Side of Chicago; is the author of Known by Name: Inside the Halls of Notre Dame; and recently finished his sixth Camino pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostela in Spain.
