Rev. T.J. Groden, C.S.C. serves as Rector of Baumer Hall. T.J. is originally from Glenview, Illinois, and first met Holy Cross as a Notre Dame undergrad. After graduating with a degree in finance, T.J. taught high school in Sacramento, California, through Notre's Dame's Alliance for Catholic Education (ACE) program before entering formation with Holy Cross in 2019. T.J. was an assistant rector in Dillon Hall during the 2024-2025 academic year. T.J. professed final vows and was ordained a deacon in Fall 2025 and was ordained a priest on April 11, 2026 while serving the Bucaneer's of Baumer Hall.
